What are some ways I help my clients? Besides the obvious things like providing them with beautiful brand images that elevate their business and helping them have a gallery of photos so they aren't scrambling to find pictures or video clips to post, I also help them in other ways too.
1. I help them see that they don't have to hate every photo of themselves.
So many of my clients come to our session feeling nervous and will say that they never like photos of themselves. I try to help change that narrative for them. I want my clients to feel empowered and confident after their session. So many of these clients who say this before their session, ends up LOVING their photos!
Here's what just some of my camera-shy clients have said who were nervous about seeing themselves on camera:
2. I help my clients have photos they feel confident in to help them feel like the successful business owner that they are.
Having beautiful (and relevant), professional photos helps you show up more confident as the face of your brand. If you are building a personal brand (AKA, if you have a business where you are the face of your brand and your clients work directly with you) then having professional photos of you on social media and your website is SOOO important to build that "like, know, and trust" connection!
I recently had a client book a session with me because she's feeling a little insecure about showing up as the face of her brand and didn't have any professional photos of herself and wanted an actual photoshoot done to make herself feel more legit, make herself show up as the expert, and to have photos that really speaks to her target clients.
3. I help my clients show up authentically.
I never want you to stray away from what's authentic to you during our shoot. You also never have to be afraid to speak up on what you're wanting out of your shoot. If you have specific ideas, let's talk about them! We don't have to do what everyone else in your industry is doing in their shoots (or we can if that's what you love) but we can make your shoot unique to you. I never want to incorporate props or certain poses that isn't authentic to you and your personality.
Don't like coffee? Then don't have a coffee mug in your photos just because you see other people doing that a lot. Don't like dancing and it's so not your personality? Then don't take fun dancing photos if that's not you. Hate serious poses because you're naturally smiling and laughing a lot? Then we don't have to take any serious-face photos.
Just make sure to stay authentic to you and how you want your brand to be perceived!
