It's always great to make sure you have a variety of photos to post on your website, social media, ads, etc.
Here are 10 types of photos to capture at your brand shoot:
1. A professional headshot looking at camera
Every professional needs a headshot to use for their business account's profile photos, email signature, website, and more.
2. Working shot
This includes you creating your product if you have a product-based biz or performing your service if you're a service-based biz.
3. Laughing shot
These types of shots show your personality and makes you look more approachable by potential clients.
4. Photo with client
This is assuming you have a business with customers or clients. It's so important to have photos showing you working with clients. It helps your audience visualize what it might be like working with you.
5. Blank space shots
Great for adding text to on stories, infographics, websites, & more.
6. Custom "stock photos"
This is definitely a must have. Usually, these photos won't have you in them. It is typically shots of props associated with your business. Great to add text on to and great for replacing the actual stock photos on your website.
7. Celebration shot
Great to have on things you send to your clients after they book, good for posting about personal or professional wins, etc.
8. Looking away from camera
It's always good to have a variety of photos looking at the camera and looking away from the camera.
9. Photos with props
I LOOOOVE props! Props add so much variety to your photos and helps tell the story of you and your brand.
10. A creative shot that stands out
A “creative” shot that stands out can mean many things. Maybe it’s just using a bright backdrop color, or maybe it's using confetti, or maybe it's just something a little different than you see other people doing in their photos.
