Life Coach & Copywriter Photo and Video Session | Alicia States

I love all the variety that we were able to capture during this personal brand session for an entrepreneur who is a life coach and copywriter.

We shot this session in a home setting outside of Columbia, MO. We also incorporated a pink and white backdrop, plus some outdoor shots.

Intro to Alicia:

"I’m a wife of 20 years, mom of 6 children, and double business owner. Let’s Grow Copy (est. 2022) - I help with marketing, write blogs, sales pages, newsletters, ect… for women-owned businesses, and Alicia Kathleen Coaching (est. 2024) as a certified life coach for married women."

Main focus of the shoot:

We focused on headshots/portraits, working shots, self-care shots, outdoor shots, blank space shots (it's crucial to get these during your brand session!), implementing books plus other props that are relevant to her business, and one of my favorites, smashing a game console controller.

You may be wondering, what is the idea behind the photos and video clips of smashing a PlayStation controller? One thing Alicia can help with is coaching wives of husbands who are constantly gaming. She helps them be able to navigate the situation because it can truly cause a lot of issues in some marriages.

This was Alicia's very first brand shoot and she now has a beautiful and useful gallery of photos AND video clips to use for her website, social media pages, and marketing materials.
